David Creighton

As the grandson of a New Orleans attorney, David Creighton was exposed to the law at an early age.

After graduating from Jesuit High School, he attended Louisiana State University, where he spent time as an intern for the Saint Tammany District Attorney’s Office. The internship gave him up-close courtroom experience, further developing his passion for the legal field.

Following in his grandfather’s footsteps, David decided to become an attorney and enrolled in Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. During his time at Loyola, David made the Dean’s List and was elected a Student Body Class Representative.

Soon after graduating, David handled a complex abuse case for a relative with severe developmental disabilities. Although the case was difficult, David was able to gain experience on all Louisiana Court levels, ultimately obtaining a unanimous verdict from the Louisiana Supreme Court in his client’s favor.

David Creighton

David has a successful track record working both as a solo practitioner and as corporate defense counsel for both national and local franchise corporations and small businesses. His work now at Creighton Macaluso gives him the opportunity to help people manage complicated and emotionally traumatizing cases and deliver desired verdicts by giving people a voice through his work as their attorney.

The best part of law is helping people find real solutions to their problems, and in order to do that, being that powerful voice for them to achieve those solutions.

When he’s not in the courtroom, you can find David spending time with his wife and children or participating in running competitions like the Crescent City Classic. And of course – like all good Louisiana natives – he’s a die-hard LSU and Saints fan!
